However, after surveying over 100 women from the ages of 25 to 45 on the topic of their top sexual fantasies, it seems that women might have more in common than they thought. The results revealed a number of surprises.
The Dominant Role
According to the survey, one of the top sexual fantasies in the minds
of women is domination. Yes, ladies still want a man who can take charge,
even in times when women are striving to achieve equality in the workplace.
Although a woman’s role in society these days requires her to exemplify
a more independent and competent attitude, she still has a deep desire
to be swept off her feet. The surveyed women were encouraged to share
their feelings and opinions on society’s expectations to demonstrate
a more assertive attitude in order to better compete in the work force.
Many expressed a strong desire to let go of their defences, especially
in the bedroom.
On the other hand, women who live a somewhat submissive lifestyle are more likely to fantasize about being the aggressor in the bedroom. The dominant role in sexual play becomes exciting for them, as it is a change from their typical behaviour.
Sex with a Stranger
Another one of the top sexual fantasies of the women who were surveyed
included having sex with a stranger. However, the women expressed a preference:
they would be especially thrilled if this stranger was a man in uniform.
Police officers and firemen made top of the list.
Sex on the Beach
Location was a key factor in determining women’s top sexual fantasies.
If you guessed that ladies like it on a deserted beach somewhere in a
tropical setting you are right! Her beach fantasy might include a combination
of warm sand, a beautiful sunset, and of course a man with a hot body
and a glistening tan.
Role Playing
Many of the women surveyed fantasized about role playing, and most thought
that doing a striptease for their man would be exciting - slowly taking
it all off in order to tease and arouse to the limit. Let’s face
it, it’s fun to be bad! Ladies often fantasize about being the bad
girl, discarding inhibitions and allowing the wild side to come alive
as a seductress. In real life she may be little self conscious, and not
overly confident as she stresses over her imperfections, but when she
is role playing, she can feel powerful.
Other notable sexual fantasies included threesomes, forceful sex, sex with a celebrity, and bondage. Today’s women are more comfortable being on the receiving end of sexual pleasure.
